People aren\u2019t always as patient or supportive or encouraging as we want them, or hope them, to be. Nobody is perfect.\n\nSometimes it\u2019s the voice inside your own head that has the most harmful effect on your self-esteem and well being. It\u2019s that voice, no matter how quiet or loud, that often keeps you stuck in a negative mindset and old, destructive patterns of behavior that don\u2019t serve you and that you may wish you could change.\n\nThe good news is you can change your language. And there is no better person than a coach to help mirror positive language back to you. Because your coach is one person in your life who knows not\u00a0to fall back on language that does nothing to support you in getting in touch with your own inner strength and resiliency. Your coach knows that words are powerful. And that we live our lives according to what we believe about ourselves.\n\nHere are 25 things your coach would never say to you:\n

  1. Not my problem.<\/li>\n \t
  2. Get a life.<\/li>\n \t
  3. Stop being a victim.<\/li>\n \t
  4. I told you so.<\/li>\n \t
  5. How can I make that better?<\/li>\n \t
  6. If only it weren\u2019t so.<\/li>\n \t
  7. Your life is not so bad.<\/li>\n \t
  8. Who needs goals?<\/li>\n \t
  9. Forget about the future.<\/li>\n \t
  10. There is no truth.<\/li>\n \t
  11. Personal growth is a waste of time.<\/li>\n \t
  12. What if you fail?<\/li>\n \t
  13. There\u2019s nothing to be done about that.<\/li>\n \t
